Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia wants to get seniors moving with its new program "EnhanceFitness." This low-cost, evidence-based group exercise helps older adults at all fitness levels become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives.
Three times a week, participants will be led by a certified instructor through an hour of dynamic exercises that will help improve balance, flexibility, bone density, endurance, coordination, mental sharpness, and decrease falling risks. Additionally, participants' progress will be followed through fitness checks.
Classes are held at Nike Park Senior Center.
