Senior Services to host Free Medicare information and assistance events in October 2019
SENIOR SERVICES TO HOST FREE MEDICARE INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE EVENTS IN OCTOBER 2019

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (Sept. 27, 2019) – Senior Services’ Medicare benefits counselors will hold information and assistance events throughout Western Tidewater in October 2019 to assist Medicare-eligible individuals navigating Medicare and Medicare Part D. Assistance will also be available for those who are currently enrolled and may be eligible for the Part D Low-Income Subsidy “Extra Help” benefit.
These sessions are always free and open to the public. Appointments are not required unless specified but are recommended. To make an appointment with a Medicare benefits counselor, please call Sam Mizelle at 757-328-4217 as noted below.
The MedCare Access Medicare benefits counseling program, administered by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia, serves residents of Franklin, Isle of Wight County, Southampton County and Suffolk.
