Volunteer Highlight: Our Hayden Team
Senior Services volunteers are some of the best! We want to take a moment to highlight the outstanding volunteer team at Hayden Village Center.
Both active participants in Hayden’s Better Together Café, Mr. Burnert (aka Bump) and Miss Selina act as outstanding volunteers at the Hayden. Bump began volunteering with us in October of 2023. He is happy to help with whatever the center needs and often asks for extra tasks. Miss Selina started volunteering with us in October of 2022. Always smiling, she helps with serving lunch every day to her fellow Better Together Café participants.
Last, but certainly not least, we have Miss Linda. Joining us in July of 2021, Miss Linda maintains the Hayden front desk helping answer the door and phones, assisting with deliveries to residents, and delighting us with her beautiful singing voice.
Together, our volunteers have logged more than 1300 hours in support of our organization! Next time you’re out at Hayden, be sure to say hello (or bring them their favorite treat)!
