Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia respects your privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of information you submit to us. The following Privacy Policy informs you about how and why we collect any personal information about you and how we use that information. Your accessing and continued use of our site signifies your explicit consent to these terms and conditions and data practices of our Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any and all information collected at this Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia and The Center for Aging website, www.ssseva.org, will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed.

We maintain our records in accordance with the obligations as defined by applicable Virginia statutes, including, but not limited to, the Virginia Privacy Protection Act of 1976, the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and by any applicable U.S. federal laws.

Automatically Collected and Stored Information: We endeavor to collect only the minimum amount of information needed to provide services. If you do nothing during your visit to Senior Services’ website but browse or download information, we automatically collect and store the following information about your visit:

  3. The date and time you visited this site
  4. The pages visited

The information collected is used to improve the content of our web services and to help us understand how people are using our pages. Children Under Sixteen

Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia does not intentionally target our site or our services to children, and Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia will not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of sixteen. If a parent or guardian believes that the Website has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately at mzlorke@ssseva.org.
