Farmers Market Program

Receive fresh produce vouchers!

Virginia’s Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides vouchers to help eligible older adults buy fresh, nutritious, locally grown produce. This program also supports local farmers and farmers markets. To receive the produce vouchers, you must meet eligibility requirements (download the fact sheet below). This year, eligible participants will receive $50 in benefits, which can be used at any approved farmers market.

2025 Farmers Market Program

Starting April 1, you may apply online or in person at Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia (in Norfolk) or Hayden Village Center (in Franklin). If you have any questions, please call our hotline at 757-963-9231.

Eligibility Requirements

Age 60 or older

Has a photo ID

Resident of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight County, or Southampton County

Meets monthly household income requirements

Does not live in the same household or immediate family member of listed farmers
